Virtual Test Sessions – Now Twice a Month!


Virtual Test Sessions will be held on the 1st and 15th of each month.

If you are not a member of TGCFSC and would like to participate in an upcoming Virtual Test Session, please contact Stephanie Limbacher at testing@texasgulfcoastfsc.org for more information and eligibility requirements.

TEST POLICIES

Retake Discount for Club Members

TGCFSC offers a special benefit to its members: if you need to retake a skate test taken at a TGCFSC test session, you can do so at half price!
Please review the eligibility criteria below:

  1. You must be a current full or secondary club member in good standing.

  2. The original test must have been taken at a TGCFSC-hosted test session.

  3. The same test must be retaken at the next available TGCFSC test session.

  4. The 50% discount applies only to the test fee. The $7 administrative fee remains unchanged.

  5. This offer is limited to two tests at half price per skater.

Reset & Refund Policies

  • No resets will be accepted within two weeks of the test session or after the schedule is posted, whichever comes first.

  • Resets submitted before the deadline will incur a $25 reset fee.

  • In cases of injury, reschedules may be granted at the discretion of the Test Chair and TGCFSC Board. A coach must submit the request in writing with a medical note attached. If approved, a $25 fee will be applied.

  • No refunds will be issued unless the session is canceled or an appropriate judging panel cannot be seated.

Membership Requirements

Per U.S. Figure Skating (USFS) policy:

  • All skaters registering for tests must be current full USFS members.

  • Basic Skills and Learn to Skate (LTS) memberships do not meet the requirement.

  • It is the responsibility of the skater and coach to ensure membership is current and appropriate before registering.

  • If a skater registers with an invalid or expired membership, the test registration may be denied, and a $25 late registration fee will apply.

Note: No refunds will be provided for test fees submitted under expired or incorrect USFS memberships.
